Car Accidents in New Mexico
Dealing with the devastating aftermath of an automobile accident can be quite challenging. The unfortunate truth is that thousands of accidents are reported on a monthly basis, many of which end in serious and painful injuries for those involved. It is common to see victims suffer from serious injuries to the head, back injuries, broken bones, and severe cuts and lacerations.
After being hurt in an accident, car crash victims have the ability to take legal action. In order to prevail, a victim must be able to demonstrate the active negligence that led to the accident taking place. Some of the most common factors in collisions across our state include:
- Tailgating
- Running red lights
- Passing stop signs
- Poor road conditions
- Fatigue
- Inexperienced drivers
When drivers do not operate their vehicles safely, they can be held accountable for their actions if they directly cause a crash to occur. It is important to note that even if you shared some part of the responsibility for the accident, you still have the ability to pursue a claim for compensation against any other party who shared fault. The amount of money you recover will be reduced in proportion to the amount of fault that you share. An Albuquerque car accident lawyer will be able to help you maximize your recovery so you have the financial resources needed during this challenging time.
