Albuquerque, NM - 1 Killed in Collision at Central Ave & 98th St
Albuquerque, NM (November 11, 2019) - A woman was killed when she and two others were struck by a vehicle late Saturday evening, November 9th. The accident happened near the crossing of Central Ave. and 98th St. in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Witnesses at the scene claimed that the three victims were traveling together and had stopped their vehicle.
The two men had reportedly entered into a confrontation, prompting the woman to exit the vehicle. At this time, a silver Dodge 1500 traveling westbound struck the three parties. The woman died at the scene, and the two others involved in the accident were transported to local medical facilities for treatment of serious injuries.
The driver who struck the victims was taken into custody under charges of DWI. An investigation into the crash is being conducted by local law enforcement.
