Albuquerque, NM – Accident at Intersection of 2nd St and Montano Rd
Albuquerque, NM (November 1, 2019) – According to authorities, a car accident took place around 7:45 a.m. this morning at a local intersection that led to injuries in one or more parties.
The accident, according to authorities, took place at the intersection of 2nd Street and Montano Road, right next to the Albuquerque Police Department headquarters and the Police Academy.
Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene, where they found that two or more vehicles entered the intersection at the same time and collided with one another. The accident led to severe damages to both vehicles.
Paramedics assisted those with injuries at the scene. The conditions of those involved are not known.
There were extensive delays in the area for some time following the collision but police worked quickly to clear the scene so that they could reopen lanes.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
