Human error is a factor in nearly 90% of reported car crashes nationwide, and distracted driving is the fastest-growing example of reckless driving seen on roadways across the country.
Car crashes in New Mexico are caused by a variety of roadway hazards, such as poor driving, excessive speed, unsafe road conditions, poor truck maintenance, road construction, and inadequate signage.
