New Mexico Intersection Collision
A busy intersection is a common sight in Albuquerque, particularly during peak traffic hours. With so much chaos, it would seem only natural that these areas would be prone to a high rate of car crashes. In fact, there are nearly 2.5 million traffic accidents reported annually at roadway crossings, making up nearly 40% of reported vehicle collisions nationwide. The majority of these impacts involve left-hand turns.
Car crashes in New Mexico are caused by a variety of roadway hazards, such as poor driving, excessive speed, unsafe road conditions, poor truck maintenance, road construction, and inadequate signage. Determining liability for a crash can be difficult and more complex than simply determining fault, and injured parties are often unprepared to protect their legal rights after a catastrophic accident.
