Albuquerque Texting & Driving Crashes
The number of people who text and drive has been rising at an unbelievable rate in recent years. Sending a text or looking away from the road for any length of time is more than enough to cause a serious collision. Drivers distracted by a text message are ill-equipped to react to roadway hazards and prevent severe accidents.
According to the National Safety Council, texting and driving causes 1.6 million car accidents annually. More than 390,000 people are injured in texting and driving accidents. Reckless drivers that put others in danger should be held accountable for their actions.
Injured victims may be unsure of how to proceed after being injured on the road.
