New Mexico Speeding-Related Accidents
Speeding is a proven killer on the road. In 2017, nearly 26% of all traffic fatalities involved speeding. That year, 9,717 people were killed in speeding collisions across the United States.
Speeding can be dangerous even when traveling the posted speed limit if roadway conditions are hazardous. Not only is the speeding driver being put at risk, but everyone around them is also put in danger. Speeding decreases the ability of the driver to control their vehicle while increasing the chances of being involved in a serious crash.
