Sideswipe Collisions in New Mexico
When two vehicles are driving next to each other, either in the same or opposite directions, and collide, it is known as a sideswipe. These accidents often happen when drivers change lanes without checking to see if the path is clear. Other times, drivers are just being careless and drifting into adjacent lanes of traffic.
Whatever the case, those injured in sideswipe crashes may be eligible to recover lost compensation. Each year, more than 27,000 people are injured in sideswipe collisions. These crashes are often severe and can result in debilitating injuries.
