Speeding Collisions in New Mexico
Speeding is illegal on New Mexico roadways. Sadly, speeding can result in more than just a costly ticket. High-speed collisions are responsible for a significant percentage of serious car accidents.
80 percent of deadly high-speed crashes happened on local roadways with a low-speed limit. Speeding can involve more than just traveling faster than the posted speed limit, however. Drivers who drive faster than allowed by roadway conditions are also acting recklessly.
