New Mexico Pedestrian Crashes
With so many people walking these days, it’s easy to understand how common pedestrian crashes are. Shockingly, while fatality rates for other kinds of crashes have been on the decline, there has been a rise in fatal pedestrian crashes. Many experts attribute this to pedestrians using their smartphones while traveling.
On average, a pedestrian is killed every 88 minutes. In 2017, pedestrian deaths accounted for 16 percent of all roadway fatalities. In some situations, injured parties can recover lost compensation with the help of an Albuquerque pedestrian crash lawyer.
