Deadly Pedestrian Accidents in New Mexico
Because pedestrians have less protection, they are significantly more likely to be killed in a collision. The path is open to both pedestrians and automobiles. Automobiles continue to murder a large number of pedestrians. Despite a nationwide drop in public transit fatalities, the number of individuals killed while walking is on the rise. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, pedestrians are 1.5 times more likely than passengers in passenger cars to die in a collision.
If a pedestrian accident victim hires an experienced Albuquerque car accident attorney, they may be entitled to compensation.
Wrongful death lawsuits are intended to make up for the loss of a loved one as a result of another party's negligence. However, obtaining such compensation is not always as simple as it appears. The culpable party should be held liable even if the victim perished as a result of the mishap. It's not uncommon for the insurance companies of those who are culpable for a deadly accident to try to shift blame to someone else.
Instead of compensating the deceased's family members after a fatal car accident, the defendant should compensate the deceased's family members to help with accident-related expenses. This could only be accomplished by a Capitan car accident lawyer with considerable expertise defending the families of victims in wrongful death claims.
