Anthony, NM - Passenger Injured in Semi Hit-&-Run on I-10
Anthony, NM (January 20, 2020) - Officers from the New Mexico State Police were at the scene of a crash that resulted in the injury of a passenger. The accident occurred on I-10 EB near mile marker 161, around 3 miles west of Anthony, New Mexico. The crash happened at around 1:39 p.m. when a vehicle left the roadway, striking a cable barrier.
The driver of the green 2000 Mercury was uninjured, but the female passenger suffered injuries in the crash. The driver reported that their vehicle was rear-ended by a semi-truck that continued on after the accident. Authorities haven’t yet found the semi-truck involved in the crash.
No updates are available at this time. An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently in progress.
