Aztec, NM - 2 Killed, 2 Injured In Rollover Crash On US-550
Aztec, NM (December 16, 2019) - A collision on Saturday, December 14th, near Aztec, New Mexico resulted in two being killed and two others injured. The accident occurred on US-550 at around 10:30 p.m. The crash involved a 2001 Lincoln car that left the roadway.
According to officials at the scene, the two rear-passengers were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead by responding paramedics. The deceased victims were identified as Marcelino Marquez, 52, and Michael Tsosie, 52. The driver and front-seat passenger were both hospitalized following the accident.
Officials believe that alcohol and improper use of seatbelts were both factors in the accident. Local authorities are currently investigating the crash.
