Clovis, NM - Tommy & Sean Cash Killed in Crash on Mabry Drive
Clovis, NM (July 23, 2020) - Two Clovis residents were killed following a two-vehicle collision. The accident occurred on Monday afternoon, July 20. The Clovis Police Department reported that the site of the crash was located at the 2900 block of Mabry Drive. Two vehicles reportedly collided at around for unknown reasons near Schepps Boulevard.
Emergency responders and local law enforcement officials were called to the scene of the crash at around 1:40 p.m. When authorities arrived, a Chevrolet pickup truck was found overturned on its side and a Subaru was found to the south of the roadway. Two occupants in the truck were killed in the crash. The deceased victims were identified by authorities as 70-year-old Tommy Cash and 47-year-old Sean Cash, both of Clovis.
The driver of the Subaru was identified as 28-year-old Aaron Pedroza. Pedroza was airlifted to a medical facility in Lubbock, Texas for the treatment of sustained injuries. No update on their condition has been provided.
An ongoing investigation into the crash is being conducted by the CPD crash team. Authorities have reported that there are no further updates at this time.
