Cuba, NM - 1 Killed In Collision With Semi-Truck On US-550
Cuba, NM (December 19, 2019) - The New Mexico State Police was at the scene of a fatal collision involving a semi-truck in Sandoval County, New Mexico on Monday, December 16th. The crash occurred on US-550 near mile marker 61 south of Cuba, New Mexico. A 17-year-old Cuba woman was killed in the crash.
The deceased party was driving a 1998 Nissan when she collided with a 2007 Peterbilt semi-truck while merging on the freeway. The deceased party was pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics. The driver of the other vehicle was hospitalized in critical condition.
No further details are known at this time. NMSP is currently investigating the cause of the accident.
