Las Cruces, NM – Man Dies After Being Hit by Train Near Rosedale Dr
Las Cruces, NM (September 05, 2019) - A body was found on Tuesday, September 3, by the railroad tracks near Rosedale Drive in Las Cruces. The grim discovery occurred around 8:00 in the morning.
Police stated that the man was an apparent victim of a collision with a train. He was unresponsive when they arrived at the scene.
According to preliminary statements, the victim, a 47-year-old resident of Albuquerque, was hit by a train heading south. The cause of the accident has not yet been determined.
Authorities have stated that no foul play is suspected but the investigation into this fatal accident will remain open.
