Las Vegas, NM - 1 Killed, 4 Injured In Rollover On I-25
Las Vegas, NM (December 17, 2019) - A man from Las Cruces, New Mexico was killed in a deadly rollover accident near Las Vegas, New Mexico. The accident took place on Sunday afternoon, December 15th, at around 4:45 p.m. The site of the accident was on I-25 NB near mile marker 360.
Reports from New Mexico State Police reported that Victor Garcia Jr., 26, was one of six occupants of a 2000 Chevy pickup towing a camper shell that rolled after leaving the roadway. Garcia was riding in the bed of the truck at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. Four other occupants were injured in the accident.
No other details are known at this time. NMSP is conducting an investigation into the crash.
