New Mexico Intersection Crashes
Intersections are designed to help keep drivers safe on the road. They are also meant to help regulate traffic and help people get where they are going safely. However, they are ineffective when drivers fail to pay attention while crossing an intersection.
Intersection collisions can be severe, accounting for 20 percent of all fatal collisions. Intersection crashes are also incredibly common, being involved in nearly half of all reported accidents.
