Albuquerque, NM - Accident Closes Lanes on I-40 at University Blvd
Albuquerque, NM (September 26, 2019) - An accident on Interstate 40 WB resulted in lane closures on the roadway. The accident took place around 1:49 p.m. on Thursday, September 26th. The site of the crash was at mile marker 160 near University Boulevard.
The right lane and right shoulder of I-40 WB were closed following the accident.
Emergency response units were at the scene to provide aid and help clear the roadway. Authorities have not disclosed the nature or severity of the victims’ injuries sustained in the accident.
No other details have been released. An investigation is being conducted by local authorities into the cause of the accident.
