Albuquerque, NM - Auto Accident on I-25 near Ave Cesar Chavez Results in Injuries
Albuquerque, NM (December 17, 2022) - A major car crash happened on the morning of December 16 in Albuquerque. At approximately 10:40 a.m., emergency crews were sent to the crash site on Interstate 25.
At least two cars crashed on the interstate near the Avenue of Cesar Chavez. What caused the incident to occur remains under police investigation at this time. Injured parties were treated on-site by paramedics while police investigated the details and clean-up crews cleared the roadway in an effort to restore regular traffic.
Two left lanes of the roadway were closed for some time while crews were present. Traffic was stop-and-go back to Sunport Boulevard/exit 221 while the scene was active.
