Albuquerque, NM - Car Crash Ends in Injuries on I-40 near I-25
Albuquerque, NM (November 6, 2022) - At approximately 7:00 a.m. on the morning of November 3, a serious auto accident happened on an interstate in Albuquerque. Reports indicate the wreck happened on I-40 for reasons still under police investigation.
Sources say the crash occurred on Interstate 40 near Interstate 25 for reasons still being investigated. An unknown number of vehicles were involved in a crash that ended in injuries.
The wreck happened in the eastbound lanes of the interstate at milepost 159, in the Santa Barbara-Martineztown neighborhood. Dispatchers received the call at approximately 6:58 a.m.
Details are currently limited, however, the roadway was blocked for over and hour while crews worked to secure the area. Police continue to investigate the details of the crash.
