Albuquerque, NM - Fiery Injury Crash at Rio Bravo Blvd & I-25
Albuquerque, NM (August 8, 2020) - A crash resulting in injuries was reported in the Albuquerque area early on Friday morning, August 7. Initial reports revealed that the collision took place on Rio Bravo Boulevard underneath the Interstate 25 (Pan American Freeway) overpass at around 10:45 a.m.
There were multiple vehicles reportedly involved in the accident. One of the vehicles at the scene caught fire due to the collision. At this time, it is unknown if any of the involved parties were entrapped inside the vehicles.
Emergency responders and law enforcement officials were dispatched to the site of the crash to render aid to the crash victims. At least one person at the scene sustained injuries, but the severity of those injuries is not currently known. No further updates on the collision are currently available.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is being managed by local law enforcement officials. As the investigation continues, more details on the accident will be made public.
