Albuquerque, NM - I-25 near Ave Cesar Chavez Scene of Injury Crash
Albuquerque, NM (November 19, 2022) - A traffic accident involving a semi-truck happened in Albuquerque on the afternoon of November 18. Sometime before 1:00 p.m., emergency crews were sent to the scene of an auto accident on Interstate 25.
The incident was reported to officials in the area who responded to Interstate 25 near Avenida Cesar Chavez. Vehicles, including a semi-truck, collided and caused at least one person to become injured.
The identities of those involved were not reported. Police, EMTs, and firefighters were seen working in the area on the afternoon of November 18 in an effort to clear the roadway and help those with injuries.
The semi-truck blocked multiple lanes of traffic for some time. Drivers were told to expect delays and find alternate routes.
Authorities in Albuquerque continue to investigate.
