New Mexico Distracted Driving Accidents
A new study identified the 25 worst states for distracted driving fatalities per billion kilometers driven. The results showed that New Mexico was the state with the highest rate of distracted driving. In contrast to the national average of 0.94, the rate of distracted driving fatalities in the Land of Enchantment was significantly higher at 4.8 per billion miles driven. A total of 273 people died as a result of inattentive driving in both years.
New Mexico's laws against reckless driving will be strictly enforced if it can be proven that a driver was to blame for your injuries. Your present and future losses, such as lost wages and property damage, may be covered by the insurance company of the opposing party. Without legal representation, you might not be able to receive the full amount of compensation. Submit an insurance claim as soon as you can, and make sure you have the right legal representation to determine the full extent of your damages.
Before contacting your insurance provider or signing a medical release form if you were hurt in a car accident, you should seek legal advice right away from an experienced attorney. You can only defend your rights by taking this action. If the accident resulted in financial loss for you, it is even more crucial that you choose a knowledgeable attorney.
