New Mexico Reckless Driving Crashes
Serious crashes can be prevented when drivers follow the rules of the road and drive safely. It may not be so surprising to know that around 90% of crashes are due to human error. Around one-third of deadly crashes are caused by a reckless driver, accounting for around 13,000 fatal collisions annually, and three out of every ten collisions are caused by reckless driving. Speeding and intoxication are the most common examples of reckless driving in New Mexico.
Car crashes in New Mexico are caused by a variety of roadway hazards, such as poor driving, excessive speed, unsafe road conditions, poor truck maintenance, road construction, and inadequate signage. Determining liability for a crash can be difficult and more complex than simply determining fault, and injured parties are often unprepared to protect their legal rights after a catastrophic accident. New Mexico car crash attorneys who specialize in car accidents work with car crash injury cases resulting from a variety of causes.
