Tailgating Crashes in New Mexico
Tailgating happens when a driver is following dangerously close to another vehicle. This is an act of aggressive driving that can result in a collision. When drivers don’t leave enough room between themselves and the car ahead of them, they often lack adequate room to stop and avoid a crash.
Rear-end crashes represent around 23 percent of car crashes each year. However, only 11 percent of drivers admit to tailgating while operating a motor vehicle. In some cases, injured victims can recover lost compensation with the help of an Albuquerque car crash lawyer.
