Vehicle Collisions in Albuquerque
For the majority of people in New Mexico, driving is second nature. It is something that they do several times a day, every single day. It is how they get to work, how they get home, how they pick up their kids after school, and how they run their errands.
Regrettably, our hurried lifestyles often incentivize the idea of multitasking in order to get more accomplished in a smaller window of time. It has become common practice to multitask even when we are behind the wheel. Unfortunately, an average of 34 people lose their lives prematurely in the form of fatal car accidents every single month. Based on an analysis of recently collected data, almost 26% of these accidents stem from one type or another of distracted driving. In other words, these deaths were completely needless and preventable.
As driving a car becomes second nature and an activity with which you are comfortable, it is easy to become complacent behind the wheel. It is easy to forget just how dangerous driving a car can really be.
