Deadly Intersection Accidents in New Mexico
When driving through an intersection, the chances of colliding with another vehicle increase dramatically. Drivers making dangerous left-hand turns or failing to yield the right of way cause the majority of car accidents near or at roadway crossings. Intersection collisions account for a significant number of annual traffic accidents, with 2.5 million reported collisions at crossroads each year. Road crossings account for nearly a quarter of all fatal car accidents in the United States.
Wrongful death lawsuits are intended to compensate surviving family members when a loved one dies as a result of another party's negligence. Obtaining that compensation, on the other hand, is frequently easier said than done. Just because the victim died does not absolve the at-fault party of responsibility. Insurance companies for those who are at fault will frequently try to shift blame for a fatal accident. Instead of paying compensation to the family members of the deceased after a fatal car accident, the defendant should pay compensation to the family members of the deceased to assist with accident-related expenses. Only an Albuquerque personal injury lawyer with years of experience helping victims pursue wrongful death claims can help you achieve this.
