Albuquerque, NM - One Killed, One Hurt in Collision at I-40 & Eubank Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (January 18, 2023) - A two-vehicle crash in Albuquerque on Tuesday, January 17, left one person dead and another injured. 

The deadly accident took place on Interstate 40 near Eubank Boulevard, and two vehicles reportedly collided at the scene. Local authorities reported that a Chevy Aveo was parked in the right lane of the highway when it was hit by a Ford pickup truck. 

The driver of the Chevrolet suffered fatal injuries in the crash. A 14-year-old passenger was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of sustained injuries. No additional information has been provided at this time. 

Local authorities are handling the ongoing crash investigation.
