Pedestrian Accidents in New Mexico
New Mexico is one of the worst states in the nation for pedestrian hit-and-runs. There were 82 pedestrians killed in car crashes in 2018. When a pedestrian and a motor vehicle collide, the pedestrian will always sustain more severe injuries.
The severity of pedestrian crashes is caused by many factors. Pedestrians have no protection from the force of being struck by a large motor vehicle. Victims are often eligible to recover lost compensation by calling a New Mexico pedestrian injury lawyer.
