Albuquerque, NM - Pedestrian Dies in Hit-&-Run at Central Ave & 93rd St

Albuquerque, NM (November 21, 2021) - A pedestrian sustained fatal injuries following a hit-and-run accident in the Albuquerque area on Friday evening, November 19. The deadly crash took place at the crossing of Central Avenue and 93rd Street. 

Three vehicles were reportedly involved in the accident. Local reports indicated that a 2009 black Hyundai Tucson, a dark gray Dodge Charger, and another dark car were headed eastbound on Central Avenue. A pedestrian was reportedly crossing the roadway at this time. 

The pedestrian was hit by all three vehicles. All three drivers fled the scene. It is unknown if the latter two vehicles knew they had hit the deceased victim. No further information on the fatal crash has been provided at this time. 

An ongoing accident investigation is underway.
