Albuquerque, NM - Pedestrian Hurt in Accident at San Mateo Blvd & Central Ave

Albuquerque, NM (May 17, 2022) - A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a motor vehicle in the Albuquerque area on Tuesday, May 17. The crash was reported at around 12:42 p.m. at the intersection of San Mateo Boulevard SE and Central Avenue SE

The victim was reportedly traveling near the crossroads as a motor vehicle was traveling down the roadway. The jogger was hit by the oncoming driver. Emergency responders were called to the scene to provide aid to the injured party. It is unknown if the at-fault motorist remained at the scene. 

An ongoing investigation into the pedestrian accident is underway.
