Albuquerque, NM - Roadway Closures on I-40 at Airport Dr Due to Crash
Albuquerque, NM (October 2, 2019) - There were roadway closures caused by an accident on Interstate 40 WB near Airport Boulevard. The incident took place sometime before 5:29 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1st. The circumstances of the accident are not currently known.
The crash resulted in the right two lanes and the right shoulder of I-40 WB closing. The accident took place near mile marker 160. Emergency responders were present to clear the roadway of accident debris.
Initial reports confirm that the wreck caused injury to at least one person involved. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time as is the number of injured victims.
