Albuquerque, NM - Semi-Truck Accident with Injuries at 12th St & I-40
Albuquerque, NM (September 23, 2020) - There were reported injuries following a crash involving a commercial truck in the Albuquerque area on Tuesday afternoon, September 22.
Local sources revealed that the accident occurred at around 4 p.m. near the intersection of 12th Street and the Interstate 40 (Coronado Freeway) frontage road. According to initial reports, the accident involved a passenger car and a semi-truck. One of the occupants of the passenger vehicle was trapped inside the car and extricated by emergency responders.
The semi-truck caught on fire and was reportedly lying on its side. One vehicle occupant was unconscious and having difficulty breathing. At this time, the cause of the accident has not been reported by local authorities.
