Albuquerque, NM - UPDATE: Fatal Pedestrian Crash at I-40 & Carlisle Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (October 8, 2019) - The Albuquerque Police Department responded to the scene of a fatal pedestrian accident in northeast Albuquerque, New Mexico. The accident happened early Monday morning, October 7th, sometime before 7:40 a.m. The accident took place under the bridge at Carlisle Boulevard and I-40 WB.
The injured pedestrian was transported to the University of New Mexico Hospital in critical condition. The victim later succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead at the facility. The identity of the deceased has not been released.
No other information is currently available. APD is investigating the cause of the crash.
