Albuquerque, NM - Woman Killed in Hit-&-Run at Pike St & Coconino Rd
Albuquerque, NM (October 31, 2022) - A woman was killed after being hit by a motor vehicle in the Albuquerque area on Sunday morning, October 30.
At around 3:30 a.m., the woman was reportedly leaving a party when she was hit by a red Mustang. The driver dragged the victim for roughly 400 feet. The at-fault motorist proceeded to flee the scene.
The injured party was transported to the University of New Mexico Hospital where she was later pronounced dead. Authorities are currently seeking information regarding the identity of the driver.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly accident is in progress.
