New Mexico Auto Accidents
Driving is one of the most dangerous activities we engage in almost every day. A fatality occurs in one out of every 130 car accidents in New Mexico. Distracted driving and speeding are two of the most common causes of serious car accidents in the state. According to the New Mexico Department of Transportation, a car accident occurs every 26 minutes, meaning that more than 25,000 people are injured annually in over 40,000 car accidents in the state.
If you are injured in a traffic accident, you have the right to full compensation for your injuries and other damages. This is especially the case if your injuries were caused by the negligence of another party. Calculating the exact value of your damages can be challenging. In order to recover fair compensation, many different factors need to be considered. Two of the most important are the extent of the victim's pain and financial losses resulting from the car accident. Recovery can be difficult even for those with legal experience if they do not have the help and support of an Albuquerque car accident lawyer.
