Sunland Park, NM - UPDATE: 1 Killed in Fatal ATV Crash on McNutt Rd
Sunland Park, NM (November 13, 2019) - A child has died due to the injuries sustained in a severe all-terrain-vehicle collision in Sunland Park, New Mexico. The accident happened at the 4800 block of McNutt Road near the Sunland Skate Plaza. The incident took place on Sunday, November 10th.
The deceased victim was a 10-year-old student at Western Hills Elementary School. The ATV reportedly crashed and fell into the Rio Grande River. A total of four people were riding the vehicle at the time of the accident.
No other details on the accident are currently available. Local authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident.
