Fatal Head-On Collisions in New Mexico
With a fatality rate of almost 58%, head-on collisions are among the most dangerous forms of accidents. Although they account for only 2% of all documented vehicle accidents, head-on collisions account for more than 10% of all road fatalities each year. Veering into oncoming traffic puts drivers at risk of striking head-on with another vehicle, which can be dangerous even at modest speeds.
It's normal for surviving family members to seek justice when another person's recklessness causes the death of a loved one. Wrongful death lawsuits, on the other hand, are among the most difficult to win. A wrongful death case may be able to assist families in obtaining the funds they require to cover funeral and burial expenses, medical bills, emotional distress, and other expenditures related to a deadly incident. A multitude of rules, including strict statutes of limitations and eligibility requirements, make wrongful death claims difficult to pursue. That is why having an experienced Farmington car accident lawyer on your side is advantageous.
