Hatch, NM – UPDATE: Couple Identified After Fatal Crash on NM-26
Hatch, NM (September 13, 2019) – New Mexico authorities confirmed that a couple was killed in a fatal crash that occurred on NM-26 in Hatch. The couple has since been identified.
Police claim that 76-year-old Jerry Douglas Livingston and 72-year-old Margaret Ann Livingston were both pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident on Thursday, September 12. Their car was involved in a collision with the side of a westbound trailer on a truck.
The State Police are not sure what caused the collision but believe that alcohol is not a factor.
At this time, the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
