Las Cruces, NM – Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Accident on I-25
Las Cruces, NM (September 20, 2019) – Early this morning before rush hour around 6 a.m., police and other responders were dispatched to a multi-vehicle accident on I-25.
According to Las Cruces authorities, the accident involved multiple vehicles. The crash took place in the northbound lanes of the highway and closed the left passing lane due to the damages to the vehicles involved and resulting debris on the roadway.
Those driving through the area this morning were urged by authorities to reduce their speed and watch for emergency personnel, as several responders were at the scene of the crash. Paramedics were present to assist those with injuries. However, at this time, we do not know the names or conditions of those involved.
The accident caused delays in the area for quite some time before it was cleared. At this time, the investigation into the circumstances of the accident is ongoing.
