Albuquerque, NM - Car Crash Causes Injuries on Lomas Blvd near 12th St

Albuquerque, NM (April 1, 2023) - A car crash happened in Albuquerque on the afternoon of March 29 that ended in injuries and traffic delays. Sources say the collision occurred on Lomas Boulevard shortly after 1:00 p.m. 

Authorities in Albuquerque are working to determine the cause of the crash that happened on Lomas Boulevard near 12th Street. Sources say the incident happened between at least two vehicles for reasons still being determined. 

Those with injuries were treated by emergency medical crews and taken to local hospitals as necessary. The crash site was occupied by first responders for an extended period of time on the afternoon of March 29, causing significant delays in traffic. 

Local drivers were forced to use different routes of travel while the scene was active with emergency crews. Authorities in Albuquerque continue to investigate.
