Albuquerque, NM – Car Wreck on Central Ave near Tingley Dr Results in Injuries

Albuquerque, NM (February 12, 2023) – Injuries were reported as the result of an auto collision in Albuquerque that occurred on February 8. Local responders were dispatched to the scene at around 9:35 a.m. 

Police report the incident occurred in the eastbound lanes of Central Avenue near Tingley Drive. An unknown number of vehicles collided, causing the people involved to become injured. 

Emergency responders were observed helping at the crash site along with police and fire crews. The cause of the accident is currently under local law enforcement investigation at this time. 

Central Avenue was closed near Tingley Drive while emergency responders worked in the area. Police asked drivers traveling near the crash scene to use different routes while rescue personnel worked to control the area. 

We hope for the full recovery of those with injuries. No further information has been reported concerning the circumstances of the crash.
