Albuquerque, NM - Collision Ends in Injuries at I-40 & San Mateo Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (April 2, 2024) - On Monday, April 1, there were reported injuries following a traffic accident in the Albuquerque area. The accident was reported early that afternoon around 3:19 p.m. on Interstate 40 EB near San Mateo Boulevard. At least one person involved in the crash was hurt, but the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. 

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene to render aid to the involved parties. Ambulances were available to transport the injured parties to local hospitals for further treatment. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. No additional information on the crash is currently available.
