Albuquerque, NM - Major Car Crash on Katrhyn Ave near San Mateo Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (March 19, 2023) - First responders in Albuquerque were dispatched to the scene of a car crash that happened shortly before 12:30 p.m. on March 14. 

Emergency crews were seen rendering aid at the scene, located on Kathryn Avenue Southeast near San Mateo Boulevard. Vehicles crashed in the area for reasons still being investigated. 

One or more injured victims were treated at the scene before being taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their identities have not been reported at this time. 

Traffic was delayed in the area while emergency responders worked to help those with injuries. 

We hope for the full and fast recovery of the injured victims.
