Albuquerque, NM - Pedestrian Killed in Crash at Central Ave & Moon St

Albuquerque, NM (March 1, 2023) - On Wednesday, March 1, a pedestrian was killed after being hit by a motor vehicle in the Albuquerque area. 

The fatal crash took place at the intersection of Central Avenue and Moon Street at around 5:30 a.m. Emergency responders were called to the scene after they were notified of a person on the roadway. The injured party was found to be struck by a car. 

The victim was later pronounced dead at the scene. No additional information on the incident has been provided at this time. 

Local authorities are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
