Albuquerque, NM – Pedestrian Killed in Hit-&-Run at Montgomery Blvd & Jefferson St

Albuquerque, NM (January 16, 2022) – A fatal pedestrian accident was reported in the Albuquerque area Sunday morning, January 16. The crash took place at the intersection of Montgomery Boulevard and Jefferson Street at around 2 a.m. 

Local authorities were called to the scene of a shooting when they found a pedestrian dead on the roadway. The victim was traveling at the intersection when they were struck by a motor vehicle. The at-fault driver fled the scene without providing aid to the injured party. 

The pedestrian was later pronounced dead by attending medical personnel. The identity of the deceased has not been revealed at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly pedestrian crash is underway.
