Albuquerque, NM - Vehicle Collision on NM 333 south of Interstate 40

Albuquerque, NM (March 11, 2023) -  Police responded to the scene of an accident on Thursday evening in Albuquerque. The accident happened at approximately 7:36 p.m.

Crews were seen rendering aid at the crash site on New Mexico State Road 333 in central Tijeras. The incident occurred near the intersection with New Mexico State Road 337 just south of the I-40 eastbound offramp. 

Emergency responders arrived at the crash scene to find damaged vehicles and injured victims. At least one person required medical attention due to the injuries they sustained. 

Currently, the names of the involved individuals have not been reported at this time. Delays in traffic occurred near the scene while crews worked in the area. 

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
