Driving is one of the riskiest things we do practically every day, and every year, many people in New Mexico suffer catastrophic injuries in car accidents that have a profoundly negative impact on their quality of life. According to data from the University of New Mexico's Traffic Research Center, there were 37 traffic-related fatalities in New Mexico overall in December. 470 people perished in auto accidents in 2021. According to statistics, collisions involving cars, SUVs, or pickup trucks were to blame for 22 of the 37 fatalities.
After an automobile accident, New Mexicans may be eligible to make a compensation claim. Typically, the victim will file a claim with the insurance company of the at-fault party. It could be difficult to get enough and the right kind of compensation, even if the injured party had evidence that the irresponsible driver was speeding or behaved in another way that was negligent. Insurance claims are routinely improperly handled and underpaid. You run the risk of an insurer taking advantage of you if you do not have a lawyer fighting for your rights.
In addition to the immediate expenditures related to a car accident, our attorneys are able to accurately assess the claims of our clients by forecasting future medical bills, lost wages, and other expenses. Your pain and suffering as a result of the injury should be covered by the settlement. We will thoroughly determine the claim's value before getting in touch with the insurance provider. We will seek restitution in court if the insurance company does not offer a fair settlement for your damages.
If you were hurt in a car accident, contact a lawyer as soon as you can so they can start preparing your case. You need a lawyer on your side if you were in a serious accident and want to make sure that you are fairly compensated for your damages and that you do everything in your power to defend your claim.
