Bernalillo, NM – Victims Injured in Car Crash on I-25 near Jefferson St

Bernalillo, NM (December 3, 2022) – At least one person was hurt in a car crash that happened in Bernalillo on the morning of December 1. Shortly before 10:00 a.m., the incident was reported to officials in the area who promptly responded to the scene. 

Local officials were notified of the accident on Interstate 25 near Jefferson Street. Paramedics treated injured parties upon arrival while police investigated the details of the incident. 

Traffic was slowed back to NM-423/Paseo Del Norte while responders worked in the area. The vehicles involved sustained significant damages in the crash. 

Police in Bernalillo are working to determine how the accident occurred. Local drivers were asked to use different routes of travel while the crash site was active.
